U-17: Leader prevails. Loss to Legia

In the 25th round of the U-17 Central Junior League, Wisła Kraków faced a difficult task, hosting table leaders Legia Warsaw on home turf. Although the hosts put up a fierce fight and managed to close the gap late in the match, they ultimately lost 2-3, with the visitors demonstrating their strong form. Wisła's goals came from Milan Olej (penalty) and Michał Chramiec.

The match began with a swift attack from Legia. In the 14th minute, Ksawery Jeżewski capitalized on a close-range opportunity to open the scoring, giving the visitors a 1-0 lead. Wisła attempted to respond, but struggled to create any real threat in the first half. The visitors, on the other hand, were very effective. In the 24th minute, after another mix-up in the penalty area, Fabian Mazur extended the visitors' lead to 2-0, and the hosts were forced to fight back.

The pattern of play remained unchanged after the break. Legia controlled the proceedings, while Wisła continued to search for opportunities to open the scoring. In the 63rd minute, Mazur once again demonstrated his class, this time making it 3-0. The Kraków team refused to give up and began attacking with renewed determination. In the 80th minute, Milan Olej, confidently taking a penalty, scored the hosts' first goal, reducing the score to 3-1. This goal energized Wisła, who refused to give up. Three minutes later, Michał Chramiec, with a beautiful strike, beat the Legia goalkeeper, making it 3-2 and setting the stage for a thrilling final period. Despite Wisła's intense efforts, the late goals weren't enough to equalize the score. Legia maintained their advantage and ultimately won 3-2, confirming their dominance in the league.
