Maciej Wolicki stays at Wisła Kraków
Maciej Wolicki, born on May 4, 2007, has joined Wisła Kraków on a permanent transfer from the FC Wrocław Academy. The 18-year-old goalkeeper has signed a contract until June 30, 2026, with the option to extend it for another season.
The player joined Reymont on loan in August 2024. He previously also had trials with renowned foreign clubs, including Denmark's FC Midtjylland and Germany's Borussia Mönchengladbach.
In the 2024/25 season, he represented Wisła Kraków's U-19 team, playing four games in the Central Junior League, totaling 360 minutes of appearances. He also made six appearances for the White Star's second team in the Betclic 3rd League, playing six times in 540 minutes.
The young goalkeeper commented on his transfer with these words: "When I was little, I dreamed of playing for Wisła. Of course, I've been here on loan before, but this contract is a sign of trust in me. This is a very important moment in my career and I want to show what I'm capable of this season."
Maciej, we are glad you are staying with us and wish you good luck!
