Alex Bugaj signs a new contract with Wisła Kraków
Alex Bugaj, a 19-year-old left-back, has signed a new contract with Wisła Kraków. The deal, which runs for one year with the option to extend for another season, runs until June 30, 2026.
The young defender was born on May 9, 2006. As a youth player, he played for Molde FK, from which he also spent six months on loan at SPAL. He also holds a Norwegian passport and has been called up to the Polish U-16 national team. He joined Wisła Kraków in August 2023.
He began the 2024/25 season playing for Wisła Kraków's U-19 team, making 23 appearances in the Central Junior League, scoring 2 goals and providing 1 assist, while spending 1,599 minutes on the pitch. In April 2025, he made his debut for the White Star's second team in the Betclic 3rd League, playing 4 matches and spending a total of 152 minutes on the pitch.
After signing his new contract, Alex told us: "Signing this contract is a pure pleasure for me, I realize what a great club I can represent. Of course, my dream is to play for the first team one day, but I know I have to always give 100% to achieve it. I can promise the fans that; I will fight in every match."
