Wisła II: Return from Nowy Sącz without points

The White Star reserves played their second match of the Betclic III League spring round on Saturday afternoon. The Kraków team faced Sandecja Nowy Sącz away, and in the end, the home side were able to claim the three points, while Wisła were forced to swallow the bitterness of defeat, losing 3-0.

The home side began to press more intensely at the start of the match, attempting to impose their style of play and force Wisła onto the defensive from the outset. However, the Kraków team handled the pressure well and soon began to build their attacking moves. Maksym Tsymbaliuk had the first dangerous shot on goal, but the ball narrowly missed the crossbar. The match settled down in the following minutes, with play primarily taking place in midfield. Both teams sought to seize the initiative, but clear-cut chances were scarce. In the 26th minute, Munya fired a long-range shot, while the home goalkeeper confidently saved. Although Wisła were active in midfield and organized defensively, Sandecja found a way to beat Anton Chichkan in the 34th minute, opening the scoring. Alexander Mikhailov's side attempted a response before the break. Maciej Kuziemka and Munya had their chances, but the ball couldn't find the back of the net. The score remained favorable to the home side at halftime.

Better performance of Sandecja

After the break, the hosts started the better again, extending their lead in the 49th minute with a spectacular shot into the top corner. However, the Kraków team refused to give up, searching for a goal. Szymon Kawała had one of the White Star's best chances, having a pass from Maciej Kuziemka, but the Sandecja goalkeeper pulled off a superb save. The visitors continued to push for a comeback until the very end, with Kamil Kaczówka and Kacper Chełmecki actively attacking, but their efforts were still lacking. Unfortunately, the hosts struck the decisive blow in stoppage time, scoring a third goal to make it 3-0.
