U-15: Opening defeat in Kielce
This wasn't how the Wisła Kraków U-15 players envisioned their spring season opening. In their first match after the winter break, the "White Star" was forced to concede superiority to Industria Korona Kielce, losing 3-2. Despite an ambitious second-half performance and two goals scored, they were unable to make up for the deficit they suffered before the break.
The first half definitely belonged to the visitors from Kielce. Korona demonstrated great efficiency, beating the Wisła goalkeeper three times in the first 45 minutes, making it 3-0 before the match ended. After the break, the Kraków team emerged a changed man, eager to make amends. Their efforts paid off – first, Marcin Berezka scored, and then Vladyslav Kovalskyi scored, restoring hope for the home side.
Despite repeated attempts, Wisła couldn't equalize, and Korona successfully defended their advantage until the final whistle. Despite the defeat, Wisła U-15 showed character, fighting until the final minutes, which is cause for optimism ahead of their upcoming matches.
