U-17: Triumph in Kielce

The U-17 team, led by coach Patryk Jałocha, faced Industria Korona Kielce on Saturday. The Kraków team put in a strong performance, capping it off with a well-deserved 2-1 victory thanks to a goal from Kacper Gut and an own goal from a Korona player.

The match didn't start off promisingly for Wisła, who struggled with organization and pressing in the opening minutes. Kielce, on the other hand, quickly broke free from their opponents' pressure, and the game continued with them in the ascendancy, but this didn't result in any dangerous situations. The hosts responded by making adjustments to the White Star's lineup, after which the Kraków team began to take control, forcing their opponents into errors and creating scoring opportunities. Before the end of the first half, Kacper Gut beat the Korona goalkeeper with a shot from outside the penalty area, opening the scoring.

For victory!

After the break, the Kraków team made some defensive changes, seized the initiative, and controlled the match. Shortly after, Wisła's high-pressing players forced a Korona player into a mistake, who then slotted the ball into their own net, giving the White Star their second goal. Coach Patryk Jałocha's men continued to plague their opponents in the following minutes, orchestrating cohesive moves and creating more dangerous chances, but lacked the finishing touch. The visitors soon had a golden opportunity to celebrate their third goal – Kacper Trznadel headed the ball into the net from a set piece, but the referee ruled the goal offside. The final quarter of the match belonged to Korona. The visitors reverted to low defense, attempting a counterattack, but this time it was the hosts who proved effective, making it 2-1.
