Bąk: We did everything to turn the tide of this match

On Saturday, Wisła Kraków's second-place team lost 1-0 at home to Chełmianka Chełm. Following the match, Bartosz Bąk summed up his team's performance during a press conference.

Once again, the Kraków team failed to break their long winless streak. Chełmianka quickly took the lead, and the hosts did everything they could to equalize, but to no avail. As the Wisła coach emphasized, his team lacked specific action and a proper conclusion to the situation.

"We conceded a goal too easily after an individual error in marking. We tried to chase the result throughout the match, and I think we used the ball well until the 30th meter, but then the details were decisive – an offside call, a poor touch, a poor reception, a shot that missed the target or was blocked. There was definitely a lack of specificity in the build-up to ensure our actions could translate into a goal."

The coach also commented on the team's attitude, noting the players' great mobilization and fighting spirit.

"We can't talk about too many negatives here, quite the opposite. Today I praised the boys for their attitude and I still believe we did everything we could to turn the game around. After conceding the goal, they were focused, committed, and determined to score, but unfortunately, they didn't succeed. The opponent defended their penalty area very effectively, and as a result, we lost our second match this season."
