Wisła are fighting for more points. CLJ match previews
The Central Junior League's competitive cycle shows no signs of slowing down. We haven't yet recovered from Wisła's recent league battles, and next weekend the White Star players will be fighting for more points. A crucial match awaits the U-17 team, who will play in a derby against Hutnik Kraków.
U-15
The U-15s will be aiming to get back on the winning track this weekend. Following a 3-0 loss to Stal Rzeszów and a 3-3 draw with Sandecja Nowy Sącz in Round 9 of the Central Junior League, the White Star will head to Łęczna to face Górnik. Their Saturday opponent has three points from eight matches and sits in penultimate, 13th place in the league table.
Wisła currently sits in seventh place with 12 points. The referee's first whistle in Łęczna will sound on Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
U-17
This weekend, the U-17 team will face a crucial match. Following a 4-0 defeat to Legia Warsaw in Myślenice, coach Patryk Jałocha's side will face Hutnik Kraków in a derby match. Wisła Kraków sits 11th in the table after 10 rounds, but is just two points clear of the relegation zone. Every point is crucial.
After 10 rounds, Hutnik is in sixth place with 18 points, but their cross-country rivals have one more match to play.
The start of Saturday's clash in Myślenice is scheduled for 11:00 AM.
U-19
The U-19s, flush with victory over Legia Warsaw, will play away at Zagłębie Lubin this weekend. Wisła's oldest team, competing in the Central Junior League, sits at the top of the table after 10 rounds. They currently sit fourth with 19 points, just two points off a podium finish.
However, there's a huge squeeze at the top. Miedź currently sits in sixth place, but only two points separate them from Wisła Kraków. A win could see coach Karol Nędza's side secure their place at the top of the league table.
The start of Sunday's meeting in Lubin is scheduled for 12:00.
