Coach Mickael Wolski's players are still preparing for the spring season kickoff of the Małopolska B1 Junior League. In their next friendly match, the young Krakow players faced Nowa Huta Sports Academy, defeating them 9-0.
The match was definitely a one-sided affair, with Wisła creating numerous scoring opportunities. The White Star team managed to find the back of the net nine times, with Kacper Gut, Mikołaj Podwysocki, Aleksander Piwek, and Maksymilian Rajda all scoring once. Miłosz Skrzypiec, who joined the French coach's team at the beginning of the year, put in a superb performance. The striker scored four goals, contributing to a comfortable victory. The opponents also found the back of the net once.
"My team and I have recently spent a lot of time honing our finishing. In the match against Nowa Huta Sports Academy, we showed that we can pose a threat to our opponents. We controlled the game throughout and created many scoring opportunities. It's important for my team to build their attacks from the defensive zone, and we definitely succeeded in that. I'm pleased with Miłosz Skrzypiec's performance; he played his first match from the start and scored four goals. He will definitely be a strong point in our attack and will help us in the spring round. Our wingers made more and better decisions, which is also a reason for satisfaction. It was a very good match for us and gave us confidence," said team coach Mickael Wolski after the match.

CLJ U-17: Unsuccessful start. Lost to KKP Korona Kielce
To kick off the spring round of the Central Junior League, coach Patryk Jałocha's players hosted KKP Korona Kielce on home turf. The thrilling match ended in a 2-1 victory for the visitors, with the only goal for the Reymont team coming via an own goal by a Kielce player.
Fully motivated and confident of victory, both teams set about implementing their match objectives from the first whistle. Kielce were the first to show their effectiveness, finding the back of the net from Reymont after a corner kick in the seventh minute. The Kraków team immediately began chasing the score, searching for an equalizer. Antoni Wójcik shot wide a few dozen seconds after conceding, followed by Jakub Janiszewski, whose shot was blocked by a Korona defender. As time went on, the Kraków team increasingly seized the initiative, launching further attacks, but the finishing touches were still lacking. Before the break, the hosts earned a free kick, which Łukasz Staniów played to Eryk Daczewski, who fired wide. The final minutes of the first half saw a period of better play by the visiting team - in the 43rd minute, the Kielce team were close to increasing their lead, but Karol Dołkin showed quick reflexes, and a moment later, one of the Korona players sent the ball in a free kick over the wall, but to the delight of the hosts, it sailed wide of the goal.
The visitors' victory is overshadowed by controversy
After the break, the Kraków team began to fight back, but their opponents weren't about to rest on their laurels either. Both teams fought fiercely to gain the upper hand, with the home side initially proving more consistent. In the 60th minute, the home side won a corner, and Szymon Urbanik headed the cross in, which then brushed past a Korona player and found its way into the net. Wisła rallied to fight for victory and launched another successful attack, during which Jakub Janiszewski passed to Szymon Kawała. His opponent blocked his shot, and Janiszewski managed to finish it off, but the referee blew for offside. Ultimately, however, the decisive decision belonged to Kielce, who managed to beat Karol Dołkin for the second time in the 76th minute. This lead gave the visitors a boost, which Wisła struggled to cope with. The hosts showed no intention of giving up, but had to quickly organize their defense to cool down the motivated Korona players. The final moments of the match brought plenty of excitement, but also some nervousness, undoubtedly fueled by controversial refereeing decisions. One of these decisions forced the Kraków team to finish the match shorthanded, as team captain Eryk Daczewski received a second yellow card.
"This is our first match in this round and I can confidently say that I am not satisfied with our performance. Our game was definitely below our potential. We played below our level, and in the friendlies played during preparations, we looked much better. I think we all feel a lot of disappointment and anger after this match," said U-17 coach Patryk Jałocha after the match.
Wisła Kraków U-17 - KKP Korona Kielce U-17 1:2 (0:1)

U-19: Defeat against Arka Gdynia to kick off spring
The spring round of the U-19 Central Junior League has begun. The White Star team faced Arka Gdynia on Saturday morning at the Krakow Academy of Physical Education and lost 4-1. Hugo Woyna-Orlewicz scored the only goal for the Krakow team.
The match between Wisła and Arka was full of excitement. The opening minutes saw plenty of fighting and attempts by both sides to seize the initiative. Wisła were the first to have a good chance when Dawid Gap shot from outside the penalty area, but his shot was blocked. Maciej Pachel had a chance moments later, but the ball found the goalkeeper. Just a minute later, Arka struck the first blow of the encounter. The opponents exchanged several passes on the right flank, then served their striker with a through ball, who broke the attack inside and beat Jakub Stępak with a low shot. Wisła's response was lightning-fast, as less than five minutes later, Yehor Khromykh received a lofted pass in midfield and perfectly laid the ball to Hugo Woyna-Orlewicz, who was running in at the penalty spot. He dribbled past the goalkeeper and slotted the ball into the empty net. The next few minutes were a flurry of action. First, a shot from one of the opponents was deflected onto the post, and moments later, Khromykh's shot was parried by the visiting goalkeeper. The visitors continued to exert their influence, and just before the second quarter, they took the lead again thanks to a dynamic attack on the left wing, which the striker finished from close range. Sixty seconds later, Arkowcy were already 3-1 up, converting a cross into the penalty area and finishing the attack with a well-placed header. A few minutes before halftime, a flurry of activity erupted in the Wisła penalty area, with one of the opponents finding the nerve to slot the ball into the net with a powerful volley.
No goals in the second half
After the break, coach Karol Nędza made changes, and Wisła entered the second half hoping to turn the tables. However, the Gdynia team didn't slow down, continuing to harass the White Star defense with frequent offensive outings. However, the visitors couldn't extend their lead, mainly due to Stępak's excellent performance in goal. Woyna-Orlewicz had a chance to score, but his shot from the corner of the penalty area narrowly missed the Arkowcy goal. Team captain Radosław Skała also tried his luck, jumping to meet Jakub Bigosiński's cross, but his header was off target. Meanwhile, substitutes arrived on the pitch, trying to improve the team's situation with fresh forces. One of them was Wiktor Benedyktowicz, who returned from a muscle injury and had his chance in the match. He got the ball in the chaos of the penalty area and fired a low shot from around the eleven-yard line, but the visiting goalkeeper was on his guard. Late in the match, Borys Płotka had a chance to reduce the opponents' advantage, but once again the Arkowcy goalkeeper prevailed, ultimately winning the match 4-1.
This coming Saturday, March 9, coach Karol Nędza's players will face Zagłębie Lubin away.

The match ended in a convincing 7-1 victory for the home team, with Karol Sałamaj, Marc Grau, Mateusz Stanek (4), and Karol Tokarczyk all scoring.
Wisła made a solid start to the clash with the team from Klimontów, establishing their position on the pitch from the very first moments. The Kraków team put pressure on their opponents, creating good opportunities to take the lead. Karol Dziedzic attempted to open the scoring in the seventh minute, but Karol Sałamaj opened the scoring a few minutes later. Wisła collected the ball with a header from Wiktor Szywacz and fired a shot straight at goal. The visitors tried to fight back against the well-disposed White Star players, but they didn't manage their first and best attack of the half until the 25th minute, with Kacper Szewczyk displaying his quick reflexes. Wisła kept their opponents on the lookout for opportunities to extend their lead, which paid off in the final action of the half, when the Klimontowianka goalkeeper parried Wiktor Szywacz's shot, only for Marc Grau to finish it off.
The goal bag is solved
The hosts pressed their opponents even harder in the second half, creating further opportunities. The first chance to score came just a few dozen seconds after the break, thanks to Mateusz Stanek, who fired home from a pass by Filip Baniowski. Moments later, another opportunity presented itself for Wisła – Karol Tokarczyk sent a free kick over the wall, forcing the opposing goalkeeper to intervene. In the 60th minute, Mateusz Stanek finally got his way, heading Kuba Wiśniewski's cross, and exactly 10 minutes later, he again proved his worth with a second successful header. It didn't take long for Wisła to show off their skills.
