The last test before the league
On Saturday, February 10th, Wisła Kraków will play their next friendly at the ORLEN OIL Training Center in Myślenice. The match is scheduled for 11:30 a.m., and this time, the opponent will be our league rival, Górnik Łęczna.
For Wisła, this will be their first friendly match since returning from training camp in Turkey and resuming, as well as their final test before the start of the official competition. They've already faced their Łęczna rivals twice this season. In the first round of the league, the match ended in a 2-2 away draw, with Goku and Miki Villar scoring for Wisła. The second match was the second leg and a resounding victory for Wisła. The match ended 4-0, with Szymon Sobczak and Goku sharing the scoring duties.
Interestingly, it was the Górnicy team who started shooting first, but after consulting the VAR system, the referee was forced to blow the whistle for offside and invalidate the goal.
For coach Albert Rudé, this will also be the first opportunity to test his tactical solutions against a Polish team. Considering Wisła Kraków's league trip to Rzeszów awaits on February 18th, this selection of a friendly partner seems very advantageous. By decision of both coaching staffs, this match will not be broadcast.
