It's time for spring in Fantasy 1 League
The Fortuna 1 Liga competition resumes on Friday, February 16th, but you can already create your own team in the Fantasy 1 Liga competition and test your skills as a manager. It's worth trying, as the best players will win prizes, including season tickets and original match jerseys.
The rules are very simple. Simply register HERE (if you participated in the previous edition, you'll log in immediately) and create your team with players who normally play in the Fortuna 1 Liga. A participant's achievements depend on the results (goals, assists, etc.) achieved by their chosen players in real league matches.
Importantly, the outstanding match of the 17th round Resovia Rzeszów - Wisła Płock was not included in the Fantasy 1 League ranking.
1. CREATING A TEAM
We buy fifteen players (2 goalkeepers, 5 defenders, 5 midfielders, 3 strikers), remembering that we have to stay within the budget of 26 virtual zlotys, and also that we can have a maximum of 3 players from one league club in our team!
After purchasing 15 players, we decide who will be in the starting lineup and who will be benched. To move a reserve player to the starting lineup, we need to hover over their jersey, grab it, and drag it (using the drag-and-drop mechanism) to the player's position on the pitch diagram, who will become the substitute.
The next step is to elect a captain (double points) and a deputy captain (double points if the captain does not play).
PLEASE NOTE: Until the start of the first match of the spring round, i.e. until Friday, February 16, 5:45 PM, we can make any number of transfers, change the formation of players on the pitch (1-3-4-3, 1-3-5-2, 1-4-4-2, 1-4-5-1, 1-4-3-3, 1-5-3-2, 1-5-4-1), the captain and his deputy, move players to the reserve squad and vice versa.
2. PRIVATE LEAGUES
Each participant can create their own private league and invite friends or other competitors. Each private league has its own ranking. There are two types of private leagues: classic and head-to-head. In the former, league standings are determined by total points in the competition, while in the latter, each round earns either 3 points (a win) or 1 point (a draw). This all depends on how your match against another league participant ends.
3. RESERVES
The reserve team will always have a goalkeeper and three outfield players. If the starting goalkeeper is unavailable, the substitute goalkeeper will score points for him – provided, of course, he played in the match. For outfield players, order of play is key. The substitute number 1 has priority in replacing non-playing players from the starting lineup. If a player from the starting lineup and the first substitute are unavailable, the points scored by the substitute number 2 will count towards the scoring, and so on.
4. AWARDS
The top three managers in the general classification will receive original match jerseys from their chosen first-division club. A similar jersey is also available for the administrator of the best classic private league. The May rankings also feature an official Fortuna 1 Liga ball worth 400 PLN, while February, March, and April feature INEA jerseys and power packs. A special league called the 1. LIGA INEA FANTASY CUP begins in Round 22, with a Polish national team jersey autographed by the players. It's also worth noting that the INEA CUP begins in Round 25, offering two attractive prizes for the finalists: a Nintendo Switch console for the winner and a Segway Ninebot eKickscooter ZING C20 scooter for second place.
Be sure to check out the NEWS section for updates on upcoming awards.
5. SEASON RANKING *New*
The season standings are the sum of a team's points in the autumn and spring editions of the Fantasy 1. LIGA competition. Most importantly, the top three managers in this ranking will receive season tickets for the 2024/25 season. It's worth participating and winning!
