Match Preview: Time for Copper

On Friday evening, Wisła Kraków will host Miedź Legnica at their home stadium. Kick-off for this match, part of the 24th round of the league, is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. This will be Wisła's first home appearance since their cup clash with Widzew Łódź.

Before the international break, the White Star players face another important test and a fight for valuable points. The two teams are separated by just two points – Wisła has 38 points so far, while the Lions of Legnica have 36. Statements from both coaches clearly indicate that each side will be aiming for the full amount. For Wisła, three points are essential to move closer to the top of the table, while for the visitors, a victory would give them a chance to overtake Kraków and secure a spot in the playoffs.
The previous meeting between the two teams ended in a 1-1 draw, with Jesus Alfaro scoring the away goal. Interestingly, Miedź is one of the leaders in points distribution this season, having already won nine of them, which puts them in second place in this respect, along with Podbeskidzie.

On this day, we especially encourage you to support our team from the R22 stands. Together with KiM Group, we've prepared a challenge: if we manage to surpass 20,000 fans in attendance tomorrow, the Match Sponsor will donate 10,000 złoty to support the Polish Cup semifinals in April. Tickets for the match against Piast Gliwice sold out quickly, so achieving this goal is definitely within our reach!

See you!
