Summary of the youth weekend
On Sunday, the U13 team faced FSA Kraków at home. The U16s also had a busy weekend, facing Starówka Nowy Sącz on Saturday in the Małopolska Trampkarek League, and on Sunday they battled for points in the Central Junior League.
U13:
UKS WISŁA KRAKOW - FOOTBALL SUCCESS ACADEMY KRAKOW 3:7 (2:3)
"The beginning of the match was very even, and I'm pleased with how the match turned out. The girls fulfilled our pre-match goals. Unfortunately, as long as we were trading blows with our opponent, the game was going quite well. We didn't capitalize on our opportunities, and in turn, the opponent was unsuccessful in converting theirs, turning shots into goals. Wiktoria Zimoląg deserves praise for saving many shots and preventing us from a much higher score. Despite the unfavorable result, the girls were a team until the very end, and what characterizes them is their support for each other until the final minutes of the match, which I'm very pleased with. It wasn't a perfect match, but we're gaining valuable experience, we're not giving up, and we'll be highlighting the shortcomings that emerged during the match and consistently addressing them in the next training cycle," concluded Adrian Kruba.
U16: 14/09/2024OLD TOWN NOWY SĄCZ - UKS WISŁA II KRAKOW 11:1 (7:1)

STAL RZESZÓW - WISLA KRAKOW 6:0
"I'm not satisfied with the performance of the U-16 CLJ team, which played its match in Rzeszów against the local Stal, losing 6-0. We played below our abilities. The absence of three key players doesn't justify this result. The second U-16 team faced a big challenge in the provincial competition, facing a strong team from Starówka Nowy Sącz (last year's U-13 Polish Championship finalist). This team's performance wasn't as bad as the result suggests," summed up coach Andrzej Żądło.
