Summary of youth sports camps
Camp in Zawoja
"During the first week of their break, the U13 footballers went to a sports camp in Zawoja to get in shape for the upcoming spring season. In addition to training, the girls played two friendly matches: the first against the Mitech Żywiec women's team in an indoor arena, and the second against the boys' team under the MSKS Borek Kraków balloon. The girls performed well in both matches – they were very brave, ambitious, and determined. They constructed coherent actions that resulted in goals. Besides training, they spent time together playing various games, watching movies, and even dancing the Belgian dance. There was also a talent show and a survey, thanks to which the players had the opportunity to discover their strengths and weaknesses and recharge with a well-deserved swim." – summarized by trainer Maria Kierzkowska
"Six girls from the U9 team went to the camp, including the two youngest, born in 2017. We joined the U11 team and trained together. We had a total of 10 training sessions – half in the hall, where we focused on motor skills and endurance, the other half under the balloon – where we focused on ball training. We managed to play a friendly match with the boys from KS BOREK, in which the girls also improved their soccer skills. There was plenty of time for fun together, watching movies, and recovering in the pool. The camp had a very friendly atmosphere, with the older girls maintaining order and discipline – the younger ones always brought a lot of joy, which kept everything in balance. In conclusion, I am very proud and pleased with my players for surviving the camp so bravely. I'm glad they had the opportunity to train with the older players, as it motivated them to work harder and laid the foundation for quicker decision-making on the pitch, " concluded coach Aleksandra Łagowska.

Camp in Sucha Beskidzka

The U16 team went to Sucha Beskidzka for a sports camp, where they put in a lot of hard work during the preparation period. In addition to two training sessions per day, the players participated in several conferences on tactics, basic football knowledge, and individual skill development. This was a great time to expand their knowledge and also for team bonding. The team-building games, the inclusion of a complementary sport (dancing) in our camp schedule, numerous conversations on sports and related topics, and watching movies together certainly helped. During the camp, we also placed an emphasis on building self-confidence, managing stress during matches, and reacting to situations in which the match isn't going our way—in the broadest sense of the word, mental strength. The key to this was ensuring that the players could transfer the knowledge and skills acquired during training to match conditions. Friendly matches were also an integral part of the camp, of which we played a total of five and won three times:
Wisła Kraków – Skawa Jaroszowice Senior Women 3:1
Wisła Kraków – AP Wierzchosławice boys born 2008-2013 5:4
W isła Kraków – Skawa Jaroszowice Senior Women 11:0
Wisła Kraków – Raków Częstochowa U16 1:6
Wisla Kraków – Mitech Żywiec 1:8
During the friendlies we played in the second half of the camp, you could see the aspects we focused on during preparation (including defensive behavior, opening the game from the goal, set pieces, and key behavior after losing the ball). To summarize the camp, I believe the goals were achieved, but we still have a lot of hard work ahead of us to reach the next level. The camp showed that the team has enormous potential, which I hope will be showcased in the upcoming Central Junior League match against Górnik Łęczna, " concluded coach Adrian Kruba.
