Bartosz Bąk is the first coach of the Wisła Kraków reserve team
Bartosz Bąk has been appointed head coach of the White Star reserve team. The 28-year-old coach previously served as the second-team coach for the fourth-division team.
There are changes taking place in the coaching staff of Wisła Kraków's reserves. Mariusz Jop, who will continue his work with the White Star's first team, is being replaced by his former assistant, Bartosz Bąk. The 28-year-old, who holds a UEFA A coaching license, began his career at the Reymont club in 2015 and has since coached several youth teams at the Wisła Kraków Academy, including the U-14 and CLJ U-15 teams.
Bąk has also completed valuable training courses organized by the European Club Association (ECA), during which he acquired knowledge at the academies of Bayer Leverkusen and Inter Milan, among others. Last summer, he was appointed assistant coach to Mariusz Jop at the reactivated Wisła Kraków reserve team, which currently sits atop the Małopolska JAKO IV League. Aleksandr Mikhailov, who has also been working on the reserve team's staff since last summer, will serve as the new coach's assistant.
"Wisła has shaped me as a coach, I can say that with full confidence. My skills grew over the course of my time here, I earned higher levels of coaching licenses, completed various training courses, and had the opportunity to observe how other European clubs operate. However, I believe that beyond all the licenses, certificates, etc., the group of people I met here over the years had the greatest impact on my development," said the new coach of the White Star's second team in an interview last July.
Coach, we wish you good luck in your new role!
