Wisła Kraków Football Club, an organization that works with youth on many levels, announces a competition for the position of Director of the Tadeusz Łopuszański Private School of Sports Championships. The position is open to a dynamic and committed individual who will manage and further develop our sports school, which comprises three primary grades (grades 6-8) and three secondary school grades (grades 1-3). The goal is to combine high educational standards with professional training at the Wisła Academy.
The school's governing body is the Wisła Kraków Foundation, and its headquarters is located at 1 Szablowskiego Street in Kraków. Detailed information about the school can be found HERE. .
Recruitment for the position of Wisła Kraków School Director is a three-stage process:
• stage - candidate applications;
• stage - document verification;
• stage - interview with selected candidates;
• stage - evaluation of candidates.
Required documents:
• Cover letter – explaining why the candidate wants to take up the position of Wisła Kraków School Principal and what his/her plans and vision for the school’s development are;
• CV – a detailed professional curriculum vitae containing information about education, professional experience, qualifications and achievements;
• Copies of higher education diplomas – confirming higher education;
• Certificate of completion of the Pedagogical Qualification Course for education management staff or a diploma of completed postgraduate studies in the field of education management;
• Certificate of no criminal record – valid (issued within the last 3 months);
• References – at least two recommendations from previous employers or colleagues;
• Concept of school operation and development – a document describing the candidate’s vision for the development of the sports school in the coming years;
• Declaration of consent to the processing of personal data – in accordance with applicable GDPR provisions.
Scope of duties:
- Managing the teaching, educational and care activities of primary school (grades 6-8) and high school (grades 1-3);
- Organizing and coordinating the work of teachers, administrative staff and educational staff;
- Maintaining documentation in accordance with applicable education law;
- Managing the budget and financial resources of the primary and secondary school;
- Managing a team of teachers, monitoring their professional work and motivating them to achieve their goals;
- Management of the school boarding house.
Requirements:
- Master's degree, preferably in pedagogy, educational management or related fields;
- Experience in a managerial position in educational institutions;
- Knowledge of education law and school administration;
- Good knowledge of computers, e-mail and the Internet;
- Minimal knowledge of football;
- Ability to work in a large organization such as Wisła Kraków;
- Creativity, initiative and decision-making ability;
- Implementation of the school's educational development plan.
