Wisla Future
Wisła Kraków is implementing a number of initiatives aimed at improving the quality of training for young footballers. One of these initiatives is the Wisła Future program, which provides outstanding players from the White Star's Partner Clubs, as well as those identified by the Academy staff, with the opportunity to hone their skills in specially designed training sessions led by Wisła Kraków coaches once a month. This season, the project is aimed at players born in 2011, 2012, and 2013, with plans to expand participation to younger players born in 2014 in the future.
The coordinator of this project is coach Krystian Żakowicz, coach of the CLJ U-15 team, who, in cooperation with the coaches of the U-13, U-12 and U-11 teams, organizes the Wisła Future training schedule.
"During these training sessions, we focus on familiarizing the player with the White Star Academy and the standards there. We also place great emphasis on developing technical skills and on individual activities or working collaboratively in smaller groups. Thanks to this project, we are able to monitor the boy's progress over time, which brings numerous benefits. Each boy develops at his own pace, both in terms of football skills and mental aspects," explains the project coordinator.
