London

The Wisła Kraków Football Academy is strengthening its presence abroad. We are pleased to announce that a certified White Star football academy, now known as Wisła Kraków London, has been launched in the British capital, where approximately 200 children are currently honing their footballing skills. This is another step towards building the club's brand abroad.

The decision to open a certified foreign football school in London is a step forward in the internationalisation of the Wisła Kraków brand and allows the local community of young football players access to professional training that benefits their sporting and personal development.

Representatives of Wisła Kraków visited the academy in September of last year, which later resulted in the decision to expand the scope of the cooperation. This new form of cooperation involves the exchange of experiences, allowing coaches from London to access the knowledge offered by the Kraków Academy in terms of training and organization. Players training in the British capital will have the opportunity to wear the kits of the club's technical sponsor, and there are plans to organize joint football training camps in both Poland and England this summer.

This expanded form of cooperation aims to leverage training potential even more effectively, while also creating a platform for synergy between Polish and British football. Through this collaboration, Wisła Kraków aims to connect even more deeply with children, young people, and fans abroad, offering them the opportunity to actively participate in the club's life.

The London branch of Wisła Kraków is run by Piotr Warszawa, who previously founded the Pride Football Academy LTD. Currently, young Wisła players train in six districts of the British capital – Croydon, Mitcham, Sutton, Bromley, Catford, and Streatham. The London Academy has approximately 200 players, and its oldest team is the recently formed U-18 team, which competes in the Combined Counties Football League in London. Younger teams play in the Surrey FA Tandridge Youth League.

"We are delighted that our academy in London has been officially certified after many years, confirming our professionalism and commitment to training young talents. This is a huge achievement that would not have been possible without the commitment of many people – players, coaches, and dedicated fans. We focus on providing high-quality training, focusing on the development of both technical skills and sporting values. Thanks to the professionalism of our coaches and the dedication of our players, we are delighted to announce our official partnership with Wisła Kraków, which confirms the high standards of our work. Many passionate people who have dedicated themselves to training young people have made our academy truly unique. It is thanks to them that we can be sure that our talents develop not only as players, but also as people. This shared passion for football and the desire to create a strong foundation for future stars are the foundation of our success. We are especially proud that our players, coaches, and fans are now part of the huge Wisła Kraków family. We support each other not only on the pitch, but also off it, creating a community united by our shared love of football and the club," said Piotr. Warsaw, president of the London academy.
