Łukasz Zwoliński is a debutant for Wisła Kraków, who lined up on the pitch at R22 against Rapid Vienna. The striker couldn't find the answer to the visiting goalkeeper's question, but he has a chance next Thursday in the return match.

"First of all, when it comes to the match itself, I'm still left feeling very dissatisfied. We were so close to drawing, or even winning. We had our chances. The atmosphere was fantastic. Playing in front of a packed stadium... There's nothing better for a footballer. Especially with fans like that, supporting the entire match. And not just one section, but the entire stadium. Incredible! It's even more so – maybe not a huge disappointment – but considering how the match went, a sense of dissatisfaction," Zwolak began. "I'm very dissatisfied. Especially since what I said at the pre-match press conference was confirmed. The opponent wasn't as formidable as it looked on paper. We lost 1-2, but I don't think we can say that before the second leg," he noted.

Zwoliński had at least two scoring opportunities, but both lacked either precision or luck. "I haven't even had a chance to see the first one clearly yet. I know I managed to shoot, but it was blocked. It's more of a shame about the header. Rapid scored when the ball hit both posts and went in. Mine hit the post and went out..." he analyzed. "Here in Krakow, with a bit of luck, we could have at least drawn this match. Now we're going to Vienna and we have nothing to lose. I know it might sound cliché, but we've already shown the fans that we can play on equal terms with Rapid. We may not be a top-tier team, but we played well enough that Rapid could have been surprised," he said.

Zwoliński played on the verge of offside. Was this because he still needed time to gel with the team? "It's just like me, I've been teetering on the edge of offside my entire career. In the Ekstraklasa, many of my goals were analyzed by VAR after five minutes to see if they were offside or not. That's my style, but we also had some specific goals for this match. The idea was to give Angel Rodado more space between the lines, and for me to tie down the defenders more. It's hard to say how well it worked, because that's what coaches are for. All I know is that our relationship with Angel will improve from match to match. I'm sure of that!" he noted. "Paweł Brożek recently told me that when he played at Wisła with Rafał Boguski, they had such patterns that they simply played blindly. But such cooperation, such a feeling, took some time to understand each other, to play by heart. I'm glad that Angel and I quickly bonded in the locker room. He has great quality. From training to training, from match to match, our cooperation will simply improve. We will both benefit from it. Wisła will benefit from it. I strongly believe in this," he expressed his hope.

Before Wisła Kraków play in Vienna, they have a home match against Polonia Warsaw. "There are no easy matches in either the Ekstraklasa or the First League. I've played in many teams, and I remember how we struggled in positional attacks in many matches, when our opponents defended deep. Wisła Kraków is impressive in the First League. Everyone will be pushing us even harder. I hope for myself and the boys to play as courageously as we did against Rapid. If we perform like this in the First League, but also add efficiency, I'm confident about the results," concluded Łukasz Zwoliński.
