Victory in the sparring match against Tramwaj Kraków
The White Star seniors played their first game on Saturday afternoon a friendly match with the TS Tramwaj Kraków team. The match ended with a victory Wislaczek 5:0.
From the very beginning of the match, the White Star players took the initiative and created further scoring opportunities. Wisła players had most of the time spent in the opponents' half. The first goal was scored in the 6th minute min – Mikulińska put the ball in the net after a follow-up shot by Pokorniak . A few minutes later, the same player showed off a precise with a long-range shot. Łatka also scored with a long-range shot, Płaszczyk after a one-on-one move, and Markiewicz a beautiful shot straight into the top corner. Despite Wisła's clear advantage the opponents managed to threaten Wisła's goal several times, but unsuccessfully.

"The first friendly match is behind us, played in the 3×30 min format with team playing in a league lower. As for the course of the match, most of the time we spent the time in the opponents' half, creating a lot of chances goals, but several times we had to prevent dangerous counter-attacks from the opposing team's side. During this sparring session we didn't tie any greater attention to specific assumptions, although we are slowly starting introduce new solutions in terms of our setting and method games. The most important thing is that none of the players were injured. We are focusing on further work and preparations for the second round," coach Mateusz Król summed up his players.
