Winning Backlog: #CHRWIS 0:3
A weekend without a match? Not for Wisła Kraków and Chrobry Głogów, who met in a delayed match in Round 10 of the Betclic 1 League. The R22 side emerged victorious, beating their opponents 3-0 thanks to two goals from Angel Rodado and one from Giannis Kiakos.
The White Star players entered the match in Głogów strongly, thanks to Angel Rodado, who flawlessly finished off Baena's pass in the fourth minute. Three minutes later, it was 2-0, and once again, none other than Angel Rodado found a way to beat the goalkeeper.
In the following moments, Wisła continued to search for goals. In the 12th minute, Bartosz Jaroch darted into the penalty area, but his shot went wide. Moments later, Rodado's pass found Łukasz Zwoliński, who was running towards goal, but his shot was blocked by Chrobry's players.
The opposition didn't create their first opportunity until the 18th minute, but the ball ultimately sailed over the bar. The following minutes were played primarily in midfield, although the Kraków side made numerous attempts at scoring.
The 28th minute saw a dangerous moment in the penalty area, but the ball ultimately went wide, hitting the post, and the hosts were awarded only a corner kick. The enthusiastic Orange and Black team tried to secure their goal, but to no avail.
The final period of the first half was a quieter one, although Wisła once again had chances to score. Ultimately, Mikulec failed to capitalize on Baena's opening move, and Gogol's subsequent shot was too light. Chrobry responded with a counterattack, but the low shot went wide of the post. That was the end of the first half's excitement.

During the break, coach Mariusz Jop made one change. James Igbekeme was replaced by Jesus Alfaro.
The start of the second half wasn't as intense as the opening minutes. That's not to say there wasn't action on the pitch. The game became somewhat even, with the ball moving from one penalty area to the other. In the 50th minute, Zwoliński's shot cleared the crossbar, preventing a goal.
The next good opportunity came in the 59th minute, but this time Rodado shot the goalkeeper. It seemed another promising move from the Kraków team would find the back of the net, but Łukasz Zwoliński, pressed by his opponent and racing towards goal, failed to get a shot on target.
The R22 players pressed, but the ball still refused to find the back of the net. This was the case in the 59th minute, when it again hit the crossbar. A counterattack by the Głogów team in the 73rd minute could have resulted in a goal, but Patryk Letkiewicz was on the job.
The final period of the second half brought more chances for Wisła Kraków, but they either couldn't outwit the goalkeeper or he was too good between the posts. Finally, in the 83rd minute, the White Star secured their goal thanks to a goal from Giannis Kiakos. That was the end of Saturday's goal tally, and Wisła Kraków returned to Wawel with a full set of points.
