The U-14 team will play in the MZPN Elite Youth Cup tournament
A tournament like this has never been seen before. On Sunday, six of the best teams from Małopolska will compete in the Central Junior League at the covered Tramwaj Kraków facility at 61a Praska Street. The teams will be born in 2011 (U-14), including the team led by coach Michał Tyrka. The competition is scheduled to begin at 9:00 AM.
Taking advantage of the break in league play, the Małopolska Football Association (MZPN) has organized a fascinating initiative. This coming Sunday, six of the best teams from the Małopolska Central Junior League will compete for victory in the MZPN Elite Youth Cup U-14 tournament. The tournament will take place at the artificial, covered Tramwaj Kraków facility at 61a Praska Street. Alongside the White Star, players from Cracovia, Hutnik Kraków, Puszcza Niepołomice, Garbarnia Kraków, and Sandecja Nowy Sącz will also be competing.
The Wisła Academy will be represented by a team led by Michał Tyrka, drawn into Group B. They will face their peers from Garbarnia and Sandecja Nowy Sącz.
Wisła's first tournament match will be at 9:30 a.m. against Garbarnia. At 11:30 a.m. they will face Sandecja.
Each match will last 25 minutes, with seven teams competing on the pitch. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semifinals.
