#STAWIS Announcement: Only Victory!
On Sunday at 5:30 PM, in the final, 34th round of the Betclic 1st League, Wisła Kraków will travel to Rzeszów to face Stal Rzeszów. This is the final test for the White Star before the playoffs and their last chance to strengthen their position in the table.
Wisła Kraków added another three points to their recent victory over Stal Stalowa Wola, strengthening their position in the league table. In their last five matches, the Kraków team has won three times – defeating Pogoń Siedlce, GKS Tychy, and Stal Stalowa Wola. They also recorded a draw against Bruk-Bet and a loss to Wisła Płock.
Stal Rzeszów, on the other hand, is struggling – they haven't won in five rounds. The last success for coach Marek Zub's team was a 1-0 away win over Warta Poznań. Stal currently sits 12th in the table. However, as Wisła coach Mariusz Jop notes, the hosts are playing attacking, open football and will certainly want to win in front of their home fans.
The White Star coach emphasized that the team is focused primarily on itself. "If we are well prepared – mentally, physically, and tactically – we can win this away match," he said. Each victory brings Wisła closer to realizing its Ekstraklasa dreams.
Wisla, go to battle! For victory!
