#WISPGS Preview: Keep the Winning Streak Going!
On Easter Saturday, April 19th at 5:15 PM, Wisła Kraków will face Pogoń Siedlce at the Henryk Reyman Municipal Stadium in Kraków. This will be the 29th round of the 2024/2025 Betclic 1. Liga season, where both teams are battling for different goals – the hosts for promotion, the visitors for relegation.
Wisła Kraków currently sits in sixth place in the table with 49 points and a goal difference of 49-27. Coach Mariusz Jop's side have been on a significant upswing in form recently, reflected in a run of four league victories in a row. Wisła Kraków's closest rival, meanwhile, sits in 17th place with 19 points, meaning the Mazovian team must continue to pick up points to avoid relegation.
Pogoń Siedlce was able to celebrate a victory in their last match, defeating Znicz Pruszków 2-1. It's worth noting that over the course of a month, our guests have secured eight points, and are now just three points away from safety. The White and Blues will face a difficult challenge in securing those points in Kraków, and the White Star, eager to extend their winning streak, will be trying to thwart those plans.
We are counting on a unique, festive atmosphere and loud cheering that will carry our team to another victory on the way to promotion to the Ekstraklasa!
See you at R22!
