An intense weekend for the youth teams!

On Sunday, the youngest players of the White Star played a match against the boys from Orzeł Piaski Wielkie and Jadwiga Kraków.
Each team split into two teams and played simultaneous matches on three pitches. The players bravely fought the boys and never gave up in the 1v1 duels, scoring goals and improving their soccer skills," summarized coach Aleksandra Łagowska.

"An intense Sunday for the U13 players. The first match was in the junior league against the UJ Kraków women's team away. The players in red jerseys played a very good match. Unfortunately, we ran out of energy in the second half and the home team took the 3 points. The White Star players were very brave and played until the final whistle, creating many scoring opportunities.
In the evening, they also played in the junior football league, hosting the AP Kmita Zabierzów boys' team. The match had its ups and downs, due to the underweight nature of the game. We played bravely and valiantly until the end, but the boys from Zabierzów took home the three points," said coach Maria Kierzkowska.

"The match against Resovia wasn't the easiest, especially due to squad shortages. From the very beginning, we were forced to play with ten men, and due to the goalkeeper's injury, we were down to nine in the first half. Our players showed character and commitment, playing until the end and, despite the unfavorable situation, trying to achieve a positive result. Unfortunately, this time we had to concede the superiority of our opponent. Nevertheless, we must forget about this slip-up and focus on preparations for our most important match against Górnik Łęczna, a match for relegation to the U-16 Champions League.
We wish Resovia good luck in the next season and hopefully see you soon." - concluded coach Adrian Kruba
U18
On Saturday, the U18 team traveled to Wola Rzędzińska for a qualifying match against Iskra Tarnów. The match ended in a 4-4 draw.
Goals for Wisła: Milena Łukasik, Dominika Skibińska x3.
Composition: Karolina Żabicka, Maja Migas, Alicja Kołodziejska, Milena Łukasik, Oliwia Kołodziej (31' Natalia Kazana), Agata Kania, Martyna Zuziak, Martyna Górecka, Wiktoria Machaj, Izabela Misior, Dominika Skibińska.
"The match began with a decisive dominance by Wisła Kraków, and Iskra was completely surprised, losing 4-0 after 30 minutes. Dominika Skibińska scored a hat trick. As time went on, the opponents managed to turn the game around and ultimately tied the game. Unfortunately, we played with a shortened squad with injured players (Oliwia Kołodziej and Natalia Kazana). A victory and a three-goal advantage (the first leg was 3-5 for Iskra) in this match could have secured us a place in the play-offs for the U-18 Champions League, so we feel very dissatisfied," concluded coach Andrzej Żądło.
