Victory against Radziszowianka

Last weekend, Wisła Kraków hosted Radziszowianka Radziszów on home soil. After a fiercely contested match, the Kraków team defeated their opponents 2-0. Katarzyna Kuciel and Anna Płaszczyk scored for the Reymont team.

The match was incredibly demanding for both teams, who fought hard to gain the upper hand. However, Wisła were the first to take the lead, thanks to a well-placed shot by Katarzyna Kuciel , assisted by Kinga Łatka . Despite the favorable scoreline, Wisła struggled to exchange possession and create clear-cut chances. Their opponents were well-organized in defense, hindering the Kraków team's goals, but they also attempted to move the ball towards the goal guarded by the White Star goalkeeper. Both teams pushed for opportunities to score, but neither team was able to find the back of the net by the end of the first half.

In the second half, the teams once again battled for control of the pitch. During this period, Radziszowianka began to gain the upper hand, but Wisła Kraków held firm. For a long time, despite repeated attempts, neither player was able to complete a well-executed attack with a shot on target. The substitution occurred only eight minutes before the end of regulation time, when Anna Płaszczyk intercepted the ball and confidently slotted the ball into the net, sealing her team's victory.

"We're winning a very tough match and taking a big step towards promotion. The Radziszów girls played really well today, setting a difficult challenge, although we had two excellent chances in the first half that could have turned the match around for us. In the second half, the visiting team had a slight advantage, but we responded with the second goal. I'm pleased that even though it wasn't our best performance, we still managed to win. For that, the girls deserve a big round of applause and congratulations, as they left a lot of strength and health on the pitch. We still have three matches left, and we want to win them and finish this season as the only undefeated team," said White Star coach Mateusz Król.
