Wisła II: Back on the winning track
The past round may leave Wisła II Kraków feeling a bit dissatisfied, as they shared the points with Czarni Połaniec, drawing 3-3. The White Star will look to secure another victory and return to winning ways in Thursday's away match against Lewart Lubartów. Kick-off is at 1:00 PM.
Coach Aleksander Mikhailov's side haven't had a moment's respite. Just last weekend, they hosted Czarni Połaniec at home, and on Thursday they face Lewart Lubartów in the league. In Saturday's home match, despite having the upper hand for almost the entire match, Wisła failed to find a way to overcome their visitors. Wisła were forced to settle for just one point, drawing three goals to three thanks to Mateusz Młyński's goal.
The Kraków team's closest rivals ended last weekend in considerably worse spirits. The Lubartów team traveled to Biała Podlaska for a football match against local side Podlasie. The visitors fought hard to gain the upper hand, but ultimately had to swallow the bitter bitterness of defeat, falling to the hosts 1-2.
Wisła has won 17 points in 14 matches played, recording 4 wins, 5 draws and 5 losses, which gives them 12th position in the table, while their opponents have 7 points (2 wins, a draw and 11 losses) and are currently in the penultimate position in the Betclic III League teams classification.
The first whistle in the clash between the above-mentioned teams will sound at 1:00 p.m.
