The Voivode of Małopolska supports Wisła Kraków

On Tuesday, November 5th, representatives of Wisła Kraków participated in a meeting of the Provincial Interdisciplinary Team for Mass Event Safety, chaired by the Voivode of Małopolska, Krzysztof Jan Klęczar. The meeting focused on the progress of the PKO BP Ekstraklasa and Betclic 1 Liga matches.

Wisła Kraków received a declaration of support from the Voivode in the fight against the refusal to admit its fans to away matches.

"For a long time now, Wisła fans have not been allowed into the away sections. I want to address this matter to the Polish Football Association and firmly emphasize that this treatment of fans who sacrifice time and money to be with their team is unacceptable. Football is for all fans, not just a select few. The right to support should be equally respected. It cannot be that some fans are allowed in and others are not, provided they all meet the same requirements," said Krzysztof Jan Klęczar, Voivode of Małopolska.

The meeting was attended by: First Deputy Provincial Police Commander in Krakow, Inspector Maciej Kubiak; Head of the Threat Prevention Department of the Provincial Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Krakow, Brigadier Adam Szczepara; Director of the Security and Crisis Management Department of the Krakow City Hall, Bogdan Klimek; Director of the Voivode’s Office, Łukasz Krzysztofik; Director of the Security and Crisis Management Department of the Małopolska Provincial Office in Krakow, Andrzej Pasek, together with his First Deputy, Michał Jamka; and representatives of the Wisła Kraków and Cracovia clubs.
