Wisła Women: Lost to UJ Prądniczanka Kraków
Last Sunday, Wisła's first-team team faced second-division UJ Prądniczanka Kraków in a friendly match. The match ended in a 6-1 defeat for the White Star.
The friendly match against a second-division team from Kraków didn't go Wisła's way from the start. In the first half, their opponents set a high tempo and forced them to fend off successive attacks. The complexion of the match changed only after the break, with the White Star players managing to create several scoring opportunities and enter the opponents' penalty area. In the 65th minute, Adrianna Sobolewska scored the consolation goal for Wisła after curling the ball in directly from a corner kick.

"A very difficult match against the second division leaders, who were further strengthened by several players from the Ekstraliga. The first half was completely controlled by our opponents, who created scoring opportunities, but unfortunately we were unable to hold on to the ball for long periods. In the second half, the complexion of the game changed; we penetrated the opponent's half more often and created several scoring opportunities. It was a very valuable friendly for us, showing us what we need to focus on and work on in the coming weeks," concluded coach Mateusz Król.
