Wisła II Kraków is in the semi-finals of the Kraków Sub-District Polish Cup!

Wednesday's quarter-final match ended with a clear victory for the second team of the White Star, which defeated Płomień Kostrze 0:5 and confidently reached the semi-finals of the competition.

From the first whistle, Wisła imposed an attacking style of play, striving to dominate their opponents. However, the hosts defended resolutely and held them scoreless for over half an hour, although an early header cleared the crossbar. The White Star's advantage wasn't fully realized until the 35th minute, when Adrian Rodado finished off a brilliant cross from Danyl Boiko. The first half ended with a 0-1 lead.

After the break, coach Karol Nędza's side shifted into a higher gear. In the 60th minute, Płomień's goalkeeper fouled Rodado in the penalty area, and Dominik Sarga confidently converted the penalty. Moments later, the Spaniard scored his second goal with a precise shot from an acute angle. Boiko added his name to the scoresheet in the 72nd minute with a spectacular header, and Tomasz Dusik sealed the victory in the 88th minute, confidently beating the home goalkeeper after Sarga's pass.
