#WisłaWRado: Sparring with Puszcza at the end of the camp
The final day of the camp featured a friendly match against Puszcza Niepołomice, whom Wisła Kraków faced at the Rado Resort. The friendly ended in a 1-0 victory for their opponents, with Dominykas Barauskas scoring the goal.
It was the first friendly match for the White Star, and the team from Wawel included many new faces, such as Olivier Sukiennicki and Rafał Mikulec.
The first few minutes of the match were evenly matched, but as time progressed, Wisła began to have more possession. They were the first to have a shot on goal, but the ball landed in Komar's glove. Puszcza's response, a shot, failed to find the back of the net. The following minutes saw the White Star maintain their advantage, holding the lead.
In the 16th minute, after a set piece, the ball sailed towards goal again after a cross from Młyński, but neither teammate could finish the pass. Moments later, the Kraków team took over on the right wing and won a corner.
Wisła's attacks continued. After one, Abramowicz cleared the ball heading towards goal. In another, Duda's shot was intercepted by the Niepołomice goalkeeper.
Attempts by Puszcza's players to counterattack were unsuccessful, as the R22 defenders were on the defensive. After a brief period in which the visitors pushed towards Wisła's penalty area, the game leveled out again. Puszcza had a chance before the halftime whistle, but they failed to capitalize on the mistake, and the teams went to the locker room with the score tied at 0-0.
Changes in the lineup, change in the result
Both teams entered the match with a change in their lineups. The second half started similarly to the first, but we saw more play in midfield.
In the 64th minute, the White Star moved to the opponent's penalty area. Dziedzic attempted a shot, but the opponent parried it. Five minutes later, Kraków's players launched a counterattack. Starzyński received the ball on the right flank, but the goalkeeper came out with a save. The visitors responded with a chance, but their shot, which hit the far post, went wide.
The final phase of the match saw attempts to get under both goals. One attack in the 80th minute resulted in a goal for Puszcza. The final period saw Olejarka miss the target and Starzyński go one-on-one, but neither could find the back of the net. The match ended in a 0-1 defeat.
