Wisła players will compete in the Polish U-17 Futsal Championships
The AZS UEK Kraków team has qualified for the Polish U-17 Futsal Championships. The White Star players contributed to this success, forming the backbone of the Kraków team and will play in the finals in Ustka on February 7-9.
The third qualifying round, held in Skalbmierz, proved crucial. The Kraków team played three matches there, performing very well, ultimately advancing from second place in the group. The Kraków team performed admirably against Viktoria Skalbamierz and Wanda Kraków, winning 5-3 and 3-2 respectively. The AZS players also faced young players from Okocimski Brzesko, and in this case, they were forced to concede their opponents' superiority, losing 1-2.
Advancing from second place, behind Okocimski Brzesko, the AZS UEK Kraków team proved that it has huge potential, and its lineup included players who normally join the ranks of the Wisła Kraków U-16 team - Karol Łakomy, Jakub Piątek, Piotr Hejmo, Shkapiak Artem, Dawid Kubik.
The final results of the Polish U-17 Championship tournament will be announced on February 7-9, when the top 16 teams from across Poland, divided into four groups, will compete in Ustka. The Kraków team, with Wisła players in its lineup, will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience competing against the country's most competitive youth futsal teams, and for many players, it will be a unique opportunity to showcase their skills on a national stage.
