Wisła II: No points in Połaniec

Wisła Kraków's reserves failed to return to winning ways and were once again forced to concede superiority. This time, in an away match against Czarni Połaniec, coach Karol Nędza's side lost 3-0, despite a promising start.

From the first whistle, Wisła tried to seize the initiative. In the 11th minute, Maksym Tsymbaliuk tried to surprise the home goalkeeper with a free kick, and moments later, the Kraków team won two corner kicks. Unfortunately, neither attempt resulted in the opening goal. In the following minutes, Wisła continued to be active offensively. Karol Tokarczyk delivered a cross into the penalty area and then had a chance after a good pass from Tsymbaliuk, but he narrowly missed. Despite the Kraków side's dominance, it was Czarni who scored first. In the 33rd minute, the hosts capitalized on their chance to take a 1-0 lead. Before the break, Wisła had several more chances to equalize. In the 41st minute, Michał Jania made a brilliant save, saving his team from conceding a second goal. Two minutes later, Szymon Kawała finished off a quick counter-attack with a shot into the side netting, and in one of the last actions of the half, Boiko came close to closing in a corner kick, but fell just short.

The second half was dictated by the hosts

After the break, the game evened out, and the home side began attacking with increasing boldness. In the 66th minute, the hosts had a chance to increase their lead from the penalty spot, but the Połaniec player's shot sailed over the crossbar. However, a missed penalty didn't deter Czarni, and 12 minutes later, Michał Zimon's unfortunate save resulted in an own goal, making it 2-0 for the home team. Two minutes later, they sealed their victory with their third goal.
