Mariusz Jop's men maintained control of the pitch, especially after the break, effectively scoring points for the hosts.
From the opening minutes, it was clear that both teams were aware of the importance of the match. The hosts pushed forward boldly, and Julian Keiblinger forced Kamil Broda into his first serious save. Wisła responded just as quickly, with Angel Rodado and Frederico Duarte displaying precision and dynamism, but Marcel Łubik was in charge, confidently defending the goal. With each passing minute, the Kraków team increasingly seized the initiative. They frequently visited the GKS penalty area, though they lacked the final, decisive pass. In the 44th minute, Kacper Duda's shot found the back of the net, but the referee raised his flag for offside.
Wisła with three points
After the break, Wisła entered the game with even more energy. Mariusz Jop's men played patiently but decisively, searching for gaps in the home side's well-organized defense. Finally, in the 66th minute, the visitors opened the scoring. Angel Baena played a low pass into the penalty area from the left, and Angel Rodado took a shot at the far post, beating Łubik and giving Wisła the lead. The Kraków side continued to press forward. In the 73rd minute, Alan Uryga broke away from his marking and headed the ball with incredible precision. The ball fluttered into the net, and the scoreboard read 2-0 to Kraków. In the final quarter of the match, GKS Tychy attempted to respond. The home side moved higher up the pitch, but were met by a tight wall set up by Wisła. Wisła played with maturity, managing to keep possession, disrupt their opponents' rhythm, and patiently point out their mistakes.
