Wisła II: Draw with BKS
The White Star reserve team hosted BKS Bochnia in the 25th round of the JAKO IV League. Ultimately, the teams were forced to share the points, drawing 2-2. Mateusz Stanek and Karol Tokarczyk scored for the home side.
Both teams were driven by determination and a desire to quickly take the lead from the opening moments. The hosts quickly seized the initiative, but Bochnia's defense was very efficient, making it difficult for the Kraków goalkeeper to threaten their goalkeeper. The visitors, on the other hand, gained possession in good time and attempted to attack Wisła's goal on counterattacks, but their initial attempts were unsuccessful. Wisła created their first opportunity in the sixth minute when Karol Dziedzic directed a free kick to Marc Grau, who shot wide from the first shot. It took a while for BKS to have further shots on goal, as the dominant hosts faced significant resistance from Bochnia, which they couldn't overcome. The visitors also struggled to find the back of the net, but in the 22nd minute, they surprised Kraków with a series of pressures and, capitalizing on a mistake by the hosts, beat Kacper Szewczyk. Less than fifteen minutes later, Wisła created one of their best chances of the half when Karol Dziedzic crossed from a corner kick, sending the ball to Karol Tokarczyk, who then passed it to Marc Grau. Wisła took a shot, but the rebound hit the post. The chance didn't result in a goal, but the home side remained confident and, just a few dozen seconds later, they launched a move in which Mateusz Stanek, assisted by Marc Grau, slotted the ball into the net.
A fierce fight and a draw
The start of the second half saw the home side take control, launching further attacks, fighting for the lead. In the 48th minute, Karol Dziedzic again attempted to capitalize on a set piece, but to no avail. However, Kraków soon achieved their goal – Maciej Kuziemka, following a Jakub Niewiadomski cross, played the ball into the middle of the penalty area to Karol Tokarczyk, who confidently fired the ball into the net. The opposition refused to give up and continued to search for opportunities to equalize. The White Star players also continued to strive for goals, with Jakub Niewiadomski and Karol Tokarczyk having chances. This time, however, BKS's patience paid off, and the Bochnia players equalized, once again capitalizing on the home side's inattention. For the remainder of the match, Wisła's players continued to try to break the deadlock and secure another three points, but to no avail.
