Wisła Kraków with the title of "Club Without Barriers" 2025
Wisła Kraków is among the winners of the second edition of the "Club Without Barriers" program, implemented by the Polish Football Association in cooperation with the Federation of Disabled Supporters. This certificate is awarded to clubs that meet the highest standards of accessibility for fans with disabilities. Other winners included GKS Katowice, Górnik Zabrze, Jagiellonia Białystok, Legia Warsaw, Piast Gliwice, Pogoń Szczecin, Śląsk Wrocław, and Wisła Kraków. Górnik, Jagiellonia, and Śląsk received the highest scores, ninety-six points each. Lech Poznań, Cracovia, and Arka Gdynia were close to receiving the certificate.
The program evaluates clubs in five areas, including stadium infrastructure, social activities, digital accessibility, and support for home and away fans. In the case of Wisła Kraków, both the stadium infrastructure and initiatives aimed at the fan community were positively assessed. The Otwarte Ramię Białej Gwiazdy Foundation played a key role in this regard, having been involved in projects supporting people with disabilities for years and building bridges between the club and vulnerable fans.
The "Club Without Barriers" certificate confirms that the stadium on Reymonta Street is a welcoming and open space for all fans, regardless of their ability. Thanks to the implemented solutions, people with disabilities can fully participate in the football excitement that accompanies White Star matches.
The title is awarded for a one-year period, with the possibility of extension to up to three years after additional improvements are made. The official presentation of the certificate to Wisła Kraków will take place during a league match in November or December 2025.
Wisła Kraków's participation in the program demonstrates that the club not only cares about sporting results, but also about integration and fostering an atmosphere of openness in the stands. This is an important step towards accessible football for everyone.
