Wisła II: The final stretch to the PP district final
The White Star's second team will face another challenge in the District Polish Cup. Wisła will face Pogoń Kraków in the semifinals on Wednesday, with the referee's first whistle in the match, which will be played on Baczyńskiego Street in Kraków, set for 4:00 PM.
The White Star players haven't had a moment's respite. Just on Sunday, they faced Avia Świdnik in the league, only to face off a few days later in the semifinals of the Polish Cup at the MZPN Kraków sub-district level. Wisła are doing very well in the district Polish Cup, as evidenced by their results – in previous matches, coach Aleksander Mikhailov's (then Bartosz Bąk) team crushed LKS Skała 13-0, and in the quarter-finals, they defeated Wanda Kraków 4-1 away. Pogoń Kraków, a fifth-division team, will stand in the way of the Reymont team's final on Wednesday.
The White Star's future opponents can also consider their previous Polish Cup matches successful, and in the quarterfinal match they showed excellent form, defeating Garbarnia Kraków 3-1. Wisła will enter the upcoming match as favorites, but their opponents will certainly not make it easy for them and will be up to the task to secure a spot in the final. Who will emerge unscathed from this clash? We'll find out on Wednesday. The match kicks off at 4:00 PM.
We also invite you to the next Betclic III League match, which pits Wisła II Kraków against Wisłoka Dębica. The match will be played at the Prądniczanka stadium on Saturday, October 5th at 12:00 noon.
