Wisła Women: Lost to Sanovia Lesko
On Sunday afternoon, Wisła Kraków faced Sanovia Lesko away. Coach Mateusz Król's side lost 1-0 to the hosts.
The match didn't go the way Wisła players had hoped from the start. From the very beginning, Sanovia adopted a defensive approach and defended with their entire team for 90 minutes. In the 35th minute, their opponents managed to find the back of the net after a free kick that went straight into the top corner. For the rest of the match, despite persistent attempts and numerous scoring opportunities, Wisła were unable to turn the tables.

Wisła Kraków lineup: Kowalczyk - Włodarz (65' Jaskółka), Fryczek, Łagowska, Pokorniak (46' Siwek), Łatka, Kokoszka, Lorenc (46' Będkowska), Sobolewska, Mikulińska, Kuciel
"It's hard to say anything after a match like that. The opposing team had one free kick in the entire match, which they converted into a goal. Furthermore, the entire team defended low for 90 minutes, and unfortunately, we weren't able to score a goal that day. We are very angry and very dissatisfied after this match, but this defeat doesn't ruin our chances of advancing yet. We have the most important matches ahead of us in the coming weeks, and we need to focus on them," concluded Mateusz Król.
