Wisła II Kraków advances to the final of the Kraków Sub-District Polish Cup!
Wisła Kraków's second team took part in the semifinals of the Kraków Sub-District Cup last Wednesday! They played away against KS Michałowianka Michałowice.
The fans didn't have to wait long for the opening goal, as Wisła attacked from the very first minutes. In the fifth minute, Dominik Sarga burst into the penalty area and perfectly set up Adrian Rodado, who confidently opened the scoring. Moments later, Sarga was on the scoresheet, lobing a spectacular shot over the goalkeeper from Filip Kowalski. Just two minutes later, Rodado scored his second goal, capitalizing on a pass from Dominik Kościelniak. Wisła, however, showed no signs of slowing down, and in the 28th minute, Dawid Gap increased the lead to 4-0 after Sarga's spectacular dribbling. Rodado capped off the first-half scoring spree by completing a hat-trick from the penalty spot, won after a foul on Gap.
In the second half, Wisła's team relaxed their pace, allowing Michałowianka more play and abandoning their intense pressing. The hosts created several dangerous scoring opportunities, but Dawid Krysa made confident saves in goal, effectively blocking the opening goal. In the 85th minute, Radosław Skała was shown a red card for a foul on a one-on-one host player, but the opposition failed to capitalize, and the free kick from 18 meters sailed over the crossbar. The match ended in a comfortable 0-5 victory for Wisła II Kraków, securing a spot-kick in the final.
