Wisła II: Changes in the staff and intensive preparation time
Wisła's second team will soon return to training, entering the preparation period for the start of the Third League season. Despite the current break, significant personnel changes are taking place within the team, including the coaching staff. Krystian Żakowicz will begin working with the team, led by Bartosz Bąk, as assistant coach.
Wisła Kraków faces several weeks of intense work, during which they will fully commit to training sessions to best prepare for the coming months of football competition. The Kraków team will return to training on July 8th, with all sessions taking place at the ORLEN OIL Training Center in Myślenice . They will have the opportunity to test their progress during three important friendly matches.
They will play their first friendly match on July 13 against Rekord Bielsko-Biała, the next one is on July 22 against Górnik II Zabrze, and on July 26 or 27 they will face Lubań Maniowy.
The Krakow team will have just four weeks to prepare, as the first round of their Third League Group 4 campaign will be played on the weekend of August 3-4. The players will enter the preseason under the supervision of a refreshed coaching staff.
After the departure of coach Mariusz Jop in the spring round, Bartosz Bąk took over the team management, supported by assistant Aleksander Mikhailov, motor preparation coach Karol Baran, goalkeeping coach Sergei Mikhailov, physiotherapist Ryszard Polak and team manager Paweł Garbacz.
Starting in early July, Wisła II Kraków will be joined by a second assistant coach, Krystian Żakowicz. The coach has considerable experience working with youth teams, having coached the White Star's young players for the past few years and last season managing the CLJU-15 team. Now, the coach faces another professional challenge: co-coaching the senior team.
Mr. Coach, congratulations and good luck!
