Wisła II: Victory against Lewart
Coach Karol Nędza's side managed to return to winning ways. In the 32nd round of the Betclic III League, they hosted Lewart Lubartów at the Prądniczanki Stadium. The match wasn't without its challenges, but the Kraków team ultimately claimed victory, defeating their opponents 4-2. Mateusz Stanek, Igor Woś, Kacper Chełemecki, and Kamil Kaczówka contributed the goals.
The opening minutes of the match didn't promise a goal-feast. Play was played primarily in midfield, with neither team able to clearly dominate the opposition. However, Wisła gradually began to seize the initiative, the first result of which was a golden opportunity in the 28th minute. Mateusz Stanek found himself just in front of Lewart's goal, but his close-range shot was brilliantly saved by Damian Podleśny. The Wisła striker wasn't deterred and finished ten minutes later. After a superb pass from Maksym Tsymbaliuk, he found himself one-on-one with the goalkeeper and calmly slotted the ball into the net. Just four minutes later, the Kraków team extended their lead. This time, the hero of the moment was Karol Tokarczyk, who beat the goalkeeper with a powerful free-kick. Although the Lewart goalkeeper managed to deflect the ball, it had already crossed the goal line. Lewart scored a consolation goal before the break. In the chaos in the penalty area, Igor Pytka showed the most awareness and beat Jakub Stępak with a confident shot.
