Wisła II: A high victory against Lubań

The White Star reserves continued their strong run and secured another perfect record! The Krakow team comfortably defeated their opponents 5-3, with Mateusz Stanek (2), Maciej Hajdara, Piotr Ćwik, and Marcin Bartoń scoring for the Reymont team.

Wisła approached their match against Lubań Maniowy eager to redeem themselves after last week's disappointing draw with Orzeł Ryczów. They tried to seize the initiative from the outset, but the visitors weren't about to relinquish control to the hosts. The home side had their first attempt in the fourth minute when Kuba Wiśniewski brushed the ball with his toe, but the goalkeeper easily caught it. Shortly after, Jakub Niewiadomski sent a long pass across the pitch, where Kuba Wiśniewski was waiting, and he passed it to Maciej Kuziemka. The player decided to shoot, but his shot was imprecise. The home side finally opened the scoring in the 16th minute thanks to Mateusz Stanek's well-placed shot. Wisła took the ball from Maciej Kuziemka's pass, won the duel, and fired straight into the net. The home side's joy was short-lived, however, as their opponents equalized moments later, and in the 37th minute, they beat the Wisła goalkeeper for the second time. They took the initiative even further in the closing stages, but failed to extend their lead. Just before halftime, Piotr Ćwik tried his hand again, striking an impressive shot from distance, but the ball sailed over the bar.

Control and victory won

After the break, the Kraków team continued to attack, quickly achieving their goal. In the 52nd minute, Piotr Ćwik sent a free-kick straight to Maciej Hajdara, who headed it into the net to equalize. However, the visitors soon regained control and beat the White Star goalkeeper for the third time. The home side were once again forced to chase the score, but that didn't deter them. In the 73rd minute, Piotr Ćwik took the free kick again and this time struck directly, scoring Wisła's third goal. The Kraków team once again became increasingly aggressive in their attack, creating chances in front of their goal. Kuba Wiśniewski and Marcin Bartoń had chances to score, but Mateusz Stanek was the scorer once again. He headed home a cross from Dominik Sarga, giving the hosts their first lead of the match. In the last action of the match they again showed their effectiveness, thanks to Marcin Bartoń, who received the ball from Yehor Khromykh, went one-on-one and sealed the victory for his team.
