Wisła II Kraków: The winning streak continues! Victory over Star
It was a match that the Krakow team started on a high note and continued at that pace until the final whistle. Wisła II Kraków achieved their second consecutive victory, defeating Star Starachowice 4-1 away. Although the hosts managed to quickly respond to the first goal, coach Karol Nędza's team did not allow them to do more and took full control of the pitch minute by minute.
The match started perfectly for the Kraków team. In the second minute, after a foul on Karol Tokarczyk, the referee signaled a penalty. Kacper Chełmecki stepped up and made no mistake, confidently giving his team the lead. This goal served as a warning signal for the hosts, who reacted swiftly. In the seventh minute, Star received a free kick from near the penalty area. The Starachowice player's shot was powerful and precise, and the Wisła goalkeeper managed to get his fingers on the ball, but he couldn't prevent Wisła from conceding a goal. The first half didn't feature many scoring opportunities, but Wisła seemed more composed. In the 18th minute, Chełmecki came close to scoring again, receiving a good pass from Dawid Gap. However, his shot flew wide. The visitors didn't give up, constantly searching for opportunities, primarily through quick attacks and precise passes in the attacking zone. Maksym Tsymbaliuk put them ahead again in the 27th minute. The Ukrainian received the ball from Szymon Kawała and, without hesitation, fired a shot from distance that slotted perfectly into the net.
Good form confirmed
The second half began with chaos in the visitors' penalty area, but this time the hosts couldn't convert the chaos into a goal. Wisła responded with calm, consistent play. In the 63rd minute, they capitalized on a weaker moment for their opponents, and Karol Tokarczyk found the back of the net, extending the Kraków team's lead. The hosts tried to get back into the game, searching for a winning goal from set pieces, but Wisła's defense was well-organized. Mateusz Stanek put the finishing touches on the scoreboard in stoppage time. After a quick exchange of passes and a defensive error by the hosts, he found himself in a good position and scored from close range to make it 4-1.
