Wisła II Kraków suffers defeat in a close clash with the league leader

The match between Wisła II Kraków and Avia Świdnik was a close contest, with both teams taking the lead at times. Despite a fierce fight and several brilliant moments, Wisła failed to stop the Betclic 3 Liga leaders.

The first half was played primarily in midfield, with both teams battling hard for the initiative. The visitors opened the scoring in the 34th minute, when, after an accurate cross into the penalty area, they capitalized on their opportunity to score from close range, slotting the ball into an empty net. However, Wisła quickly responded. Just four minutes later, Olejarka converted a penalty and powerfully beat the opposing goalkeeper, restoring the tie.

Early in the second half, the White Star took the lead in the 57th minute. After a superb assist from Staszak, who bypassed the Avia defenders with a high pass, Tokarczyk intercepted the ball. The Wisła player reached the edge of the penalty area and fired a shot to make it 2-1. Unfortunately, the leaders quickly responded, first with a goal from Pisarek, who finished a pass just short of the goal line, and then with a well-placed shot from outside the box by Remeniuk, whose shot was unstoppable. Wisła attempted to equalize before the final whistle, but the visitors' tight defense prevented another goal. The match ended in a 2-3 victory for Avia.
