Wisła II Kraków loses to Chełmianka Chełm in a match of beautiful goals

Wisła II Kraków hosted Chełmianka Chełm in the third round of the Betclic III League. Despite an ambitious performance and two impressive goals in the second half, the match ended in a 4-2 victory for the visitors.

Chełmianka took the initiative from the very first minutes, threatening the posts and crossbar of Wisła's goal twice in the opening stages. In the 26th minute, Tomczyk converted an interception in midfield to open the scoring, and just before halftime, the visitors extended their lead with a quick attack down the wing. Wisła went into the locker room trailing 0-2.

The pattern of play remained unchanged after the break – the visitors scored twice more, first through Korbecki, and then Branecki, who headed home 0-4. The match seemed to be a foregone conclusion, but the "White Star" players showed their mettle in the closing stages. First, Prochwicz scored with a brilliant finish from a cross, and then Ziarko delivered a spectacular shot into the top corner, signaling the attack. Chełmianka could have scored a fifth goal in stoppage time, but Krysa saved the penalty, saving his team from a more significant defeat.

Ultimately, Wisła II Kraków had to admit their opponent's superiority, losing 2-4, but the end of the match showed that the team can fight and score spectacular goals.

Wisla II Krakow:

Krysa (RB) - Pachel (Bugaj 81'), Ziarko, Skała, Bierzało - Tsymbaliuk, Kościelniak (Prochwicz 46') Molenda (Sarga 89') - Benedyktowicz (Tokarczyk 46'), Szywacz, Olejarka (Kaczówka 63').

Goals: 76' Prochwicz, 84' Ziarko.
