Wisła II: Add another set of points

The White Star's second-placed team is back in contention for league points. This time, coach Bartosz Bąk's side will host Pogoń-Sokół Lubaczów on home soil. Kick-off is at 12:00 noon.

A week ago, the team led by coach Bartosz Bąk finally achieved their goal, ending their winless streak. The Reymont team faced Unia Tarnów away, securing full points in that match, defeating the hosts 4-0. In previous matches, Wisła had shared the spoils three times, drawing with KSZO Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski 1-1, with Świdniczanka Świdnik 3-3, and with Sandecja Nowy Sącz 1-1. Wisła also lost to Korona II Kielce 1-4 and to Chełmianka Chełm 0-1. The victory in the last round allowed the Kraków team to improve their position in the table, thanks to which Wisła, with six points, sits in 12th place in the Betclic III Liga table.

The points earned in Saturday's match will also be crucial for Pogoń-Sokół Lubaczów, who are just one place ahead of the hosts in the standings, having collected 7 points. The Lubaczów team began their season with a 3-1 loss to Podhale Nowy Targ. In their subsequent matches, they defeated Wiślany Jaśkowice 2-1, lost to MKS STAR Starachowice 1-0, and drew with Avia Świdnik 1-1. They lost to Wisłoka Dębica 1:4, and a week ago they won, beating Podlasie Biała Podlaska 3:0.
