U13: Sparring with Targowianka Targowisko
Wisła Kraków Women - Targowianka Targowisko 9:6
"We had a very good controlled game. A valuable friendly that showed us what we still need to work on, including focus and concentration. In the first half, it was difficult for us to get into the game, and after about 20 minutes, we were down 3-0. We scored a goal in the first half and went into halftime 3-1 down. In the second half, our play was much better; we felt more comfortable opening the game from the goal. We focused, and although the score was in Targowianka's favor for the first 15 minutes, we finally regained control and finished 9-6 in our favor. The number of scoring opportunities in this match is very pleasing. It was another friendly in which we won by a large number of goals, which is encouraging. The team's mentality is at a high level. We can bounce back from very difficult results. We also need to focus on our defensive work, as conceding six goals (mainly due to poor positioning relative to the goal and the opponent) shows how much we still need to work on this aspect.
We would like to thank Targowianka for a really good football match full of twists and turns and we are waiting for the rematch." - concluded Adrian Kruba
CLJU16: Duel with Iskra Tarnów
TS Iskra Tarnów - Wisła Kraków Women 9:0
"On March 2nd, the second leg of the CLJ U-16 tournament began. On that day, we faced a strong Iskra Tarnów team away. Unfortunately, we suffered a heavy defeat 0:9 (0:5). Despite a well-worked camp and several friendly matches, which gave us some optimism that we were on the right track, we lost this match by a large margin. In this match, we were missing five key players, and this was visible in our players' performance. In the next match, we will face a team from the bottom of the table, so the picture of our preparation for the season will be clearer," summarized Andrzej Żądło.
