Weekend activities of youth teams
Last weekend, the U16 team played its inaugural match in the Central Junior League. The U13 team also played their last friendly before the start of the fall season.
U16 - Central Junior League
"We lost Sunday's CLJ U-16 match against Iskra Tarnów 2-5. At halftime, we were leading 2-1 after goals from Juli Bieniek (shot from outside the penalty area) and Joanna Król from a penalty kick. We have a lot of young players who haven't had the opportunity to play in the CLJ before. The team from Tarnów was better than us in this respect, and that was the decisive factor in their victory. The newly acquired goalkeeper Emila Płachta deserves a plus, as her saves saved us from a bigger defeat, " summed up coach Andrzej Żądło.

Wisła Kraków - Youth Football Academy Hit Wolbrom 2:4
"The match against the Młodzi Przebojem Football Academy was played in a very good atmosphere. Players from both teams performed very well, and the friendly was enriched with a lot of action on both sides. The aspect we will definitely be working on is the finishing and decision-making at the high zone, because this friendly was definitely lacking. The girls gave 100% and fought until the end despite the difficult weather conditions," concluded Adrian Kruba.
