The fight for valuable points. Great emotions in the CLJ.
The autumn season of the Central Junior League is drawing to a close. This coming weekend will be the last time the U-15s will take to the pitch before the winter break, while the U-19 and U-17 teams will face off for one more round. Saturday and Sunday are sure to be filled with excitement.
U-15
The U-15 team will conclude their autumn season on Saturday. Coach Dawid Ślusarczyk's players will host BKS Biłgoraj at 12:30 PM at the AWF, which sits 13th in the league table with six points after 13 rounds.
Wisła Kraków, after their recent victory over Akademia Piłkarskie Perełki Puławy, has 19 points and sits in eighth place. A win would allow them to improve their points tally ahead of the spring round.
Saturday's match is scheduled to start at 12:30 p.m.
U-17
A little earlier, the U-17 team will take to the pitch in Myślenice. The White Star's juniors will host Jagiellonia Białystok in the 16th round of the Central Junior League.
The team from Podlasie is ranked higher in the league table, but coach Patryk Jałocha's players proved in the previous round that they are capable of causing a surprise when they took points from second-place Polonia Warszawa.
Wisła have moved slightly further away from the relegation zone after their recent matches, but every point is worth its weight in gold. The first whistle in Myślenice will sound at 11:00.
U-19
The U-19 team, meanwhile, has a long trip to Białystok ahead of them. Coach Karol Nędza's side will face Jagiellonia in their final away match of the calendar year.
Wisła will be looking to maintain their winning streak. The White Star have been undefeated in their last four matches. After their recent impressive 5-1 victory over Polonia Warsaw, they firmly established themselves at the top of the league table and are currently just one point behind leaders Legia Warsaw.
Jagiellonia is in ninth place with 19 points.
The Saturday match in Myślenice is scheduled to start at 3:00 p.m.
