The fight for valuable points. More excitement in the CLJ
Due to the holiday weekend, the next round of the Central Junior League will be played in stages. The U-15 and U-17 teams will be in action on Thursday, and the U-19 team will travel to Opole on Saturday. The excitement is sure to be palpable.
U-15
After the U-15 team's shooting festival against KKP Korona Kielce in the last round, coach Dawid Ślusarczyk's men face a derby clash with Garbarnia Kraków. The two teams are neighbors in the table and have amassed 16 points each from 10 rounds.
The derby match will therefore have significant implications for the league table. Kick-off on Thursday is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. The match will be played at 22 Rydlówka Street.
U-17
The U-17 team has a crucial match coming up this holiday weekend. The White Star's juniors will host Górnik Łęczna in Myślenice, who are currently in the relegation zone of the CLJ (14th place, 10 points). Wisła's impressive 5-3 win over Widzew Łódź has given them a breather in the league table (they currently have 13 points), but their lead over the vulnerable zone is currently just two points. This means Thursday's clash will be incredibly important.
The referee's first whistle on Thursday afternoon will sound at 2:00 PM.
U-19
The U-19s will be the latest to play in the 13th round of the CLJ. Coach Karol Nędza's men will play away against Odra Opole on Saturday.
Wisła Kraków's senior juniors are five points behind leaders Legia Warsaw, whom they recently defeated in Myślenice.
The team from the Opole region managed to collect 14 points in 12 matches, which allowed them to take 10th place.
The match in Opole is scheduled to start at 12:00.
